Our Programs

Angels on Stage offers proven, skills-based programs rooted in theatrical arts experiences that build friendships, independence, confidence, and self-esteem. Designed to meet participants where they are, AoS provides customized opportunities for success, growth, and meaningful interaction with peers, skilled adults, and the wider community. The AoS model demonstrates an inclusive and collaborative approach through innovative programming:

  • Angels (ages 5-22)—building social and personal skills through theatre-arts workshops a professional-grade production offered back-to-back over three days
  • Leadership Council (ages 23 and up)—former Angels and adults with disabilities learn and grow with fellow Angels and also take on leadership roles that support our weekly program and season productions
  • Buddy Coaches—a small, dedicated group of typically-developing peers who coach, support, and build friendships with participants while expanding their own understanding of diversity and respect
  • Rising Stars Community Outreach—AoS in the community, including the Illuminators traveling performing group (by invitation only)
