Angels on Stage enhances the lives of children and young adults with special needs by breaking down stereotypes and empowering them to develop friendships, independence, confidence, self-esteem, and general life skills through the medium of professional performing arts.
Vision
Young people with special needs have performing arts opportunities to develop skills and friendships while changing the world’s perception of their abilities.
Who We Are
Angels on Stage is a non-profit organization serving the special needs community of Northern California. We provide a skill-based program for children and young adults with disabilities of any type and degree using performing arts as the medium. We are recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and funded by the community, families and local donors.
Our Name
Angels on Stage is named after Angel Ellenberger, who participated as an actress in The Jesters, where her sister and the founder of Angels on Stage, DeAnna Pursai, was a college student volunteer.
